The 2000 Collection
After Hasbro completed the takeover of Galoob, they kept the Micro Machines line alive, however, not in the USA. This Racing series is essentially the mainline release for the 2000 year. Each vehicle is numbered in the design from 1 through 75. Without the USA release, the production for these sets was far lower making it quite the challenge to complete the series even loose. Sets 1 through 5 were far higher production than sets 10 through 15 though it appears based on lot groupings seen at auction over the years. This was likely due to the heavy promotion of buy 1 get 1 free for the first five collections (An example is shown still intact with sticker wrap). A single example of a dual-pack offer sealed is known and shown below containing collections #9 and #10. (This is also the only known sealed #10 set.) No other promotional groupings are known that include sets 6 through 15. An error set with #2 vehicles on a #3 card is also shown below.

2000 Racing Collections
In addition to the numbered 2000 series above, related series were also released including Grand Prix sets and Track Packs. Collections #3 through #6 of the Grand Prix series are incredibly difficult to find with only a few examples known sealed. The Track Pack series assembles to a 2-lane mini racetrack, and though the series is not too popular, it can be quite difficult to complete. Similar to earlier Galoob Super Packs, a Race Pack with vehicles and figures was released, albeit very limited. An example of this as a pre-production set on a Galoob 1997 Super Pack 1 card is shown below (note the 2 red cars error). A second release of the Race Pack was planned as well with exciting vehicles like Jeep Wranglers and vibrant paint schemes, but it was unreleased. Two pre-production examples are shown below on wildly dramatic cards that were cut from a sheet that had the 2000 Racing design on the front and 1999 Military design on the card-back. Unreleased 2000 NASCAR sets were planned with an added red and blue Pace Car, but the series was cancelled. (Both are shown below.)

2000 Carabinieri Collections (Italy Only)
Similar to 1999, the Italian-only Carabinieri series was continued with card-backs now indicating 7 mainline collections instead of 5 (see 1999 page here). With this series spilling over into 2000, the Inseguimento collections were added as well as the 112 Pronto Intervento collections.

2000 Pokemon and Titan A.E. Collections
The Pokémon and Titan A.E. Micro Machines collections were released it is believed this year, but in extremely low production and only in limited regions (primarily the UK it appears). These collections are incredibly difficult to locate are are rarely offered for sale. 6 of the 8 Pokémon collections have been located including the matching prototype mock-up matching collections. (Note how the prototype sets are test shot pieces with blisters tape-sealed on Winners Circle cards. This is typical as the cards were readily available vs. the final art cards during the approval/development process.) Some of these shown here are the only collections known. Unfortunately, it does not appear that Route 3 or Fushia City made it past the R&D phase (per card back images) as no known examples exist. The Battle Arena playset has only been found as packaging art and is not in this collection, so not shown. 2 packaging approval sets are shown from China as well with Signed Sample Tags. The Titan A.E. playset shown is a Hasbro Standard with green tag indicating this was an approved design.
