The 2005 Collection
A former employee for Hasbro indicated the Speedeez line was too much competition for the planned 2005 releases, so the brand was re-evaluated and a limited release approved for 2006 later on with the planned 2005 releases shelved and never making full production. These collections were likely released in late 2004, but carried over into 2005 considering the magnetic playset also available in 2004 and 2005. Quite possibly these were the only collections found on store shelves in 2005, yet USA packs from 2003 are shown on the card back oddly. Loose vehicles are known from this series without magnets also, but were likely pre-production. Some variations are shown side-by-side for comparison. 3 unique vehicles are also shown below with no known origin, but were likely unreleased since from a former Hasbro employee based in the USA. They are the only ones known. 2 additional vehicles were sold in the Anaconda Power Racing Magnetics playset shown here in the 2004 section. (Note: The 2 collections at the bottom shown in the pictures below are errors with the vehicles swapped.)

2005 Unreleased Collections
Some organization to this series is now known from discussions with a former employee of Hasbro. 200 vehicles were planned for this year, but the entire project was scrapped due to the strong competition with Speedeez at the time. 140 of the vehicles were planned as repeats from prior years, however 60 vehicles were entirely new castings. Some of these vehicles have been found as pre-production in China like the Acura NSX, however, the majority shown below were only found from this ex-employee that sold on eBay around 2019. The groupings are arranged below to match how they were intended for sale configurations with some as 5-packs and others as 6-packs (with an intended 6-bonus vehicles similar to the 2004 UK/Canada release arrangements.) Some variations are also shown here likely related to Hasbro management vehicle selection differences and the stage of prototype/pre-production. The final 4 pictures in this section include vehicles that the ex-employee did not remember the proper configuration for unfortunately, but may have been intended for a playset.
