The 2007 Collection (Italy Only)
A curious addition to the Micro Machines line was the limited 2007 release found only in Italy. In addition to re-releases of vehicles from the 2004 mainline and playsets, unique vehicles were also released for this series. These are some of the RAREST of all vehicles due to the extremely limited market and very low production. It is believed that the glue used for the wheels on the monster trucks melted the plastic which likely led to the cancellation of the series. (This production issue is strongly evident in the sealed packs below for all the monster trucks. Loose monster trucks typically have evidence of this as well.)
A total of 6 collections of unique vehicles are known to have been released (making for a total of 9 collections when including the 3 prior-year repeated vehicle sets which were actually released in 2006). However, it is believed more repeated vehicle sets could exist due to the vehicles shown on the card back. Three of the vehicles in the first collection shown below are variants of one another including the monster truck, Cobra, and Lamborghini.

The 2007 Carabinieri Collection consisted of the same vehicles as released in previous years, but with a different packaging style. The collections are not numbered for this year similar to the civilian vehicles shown above. However, the collections match the release groupings of prior years.
