Military Micro Machines Playsets (1999 - 2000)
For these years, Galoob went through the transition to Hasbro, and the collections transformed quite a lot as a result. There were many options offered with some truly exciting playsets, and for collectors today, many rare items as well.

1999 Military Playsets
The distinctive 1999 military playset artwork background is found below for a number of sets. As is typical for 1999, some of the playsets shown are very rare due to limited regional release related to the transition to Hasbro from Galoob. GI Joe (European "Military") playsets were introduced this year as well with a number of examples shown. Many of these playsets contained unique vehicles not found in the mainline vehicle collections. A Chinese signed sample of Communications Towers is included below. Notice the packaging variation and naming for the Aircraft Carrier playset to Sea Launch Command.

2000 Military Playsets
Quite a few military playsets were released in 2000, but only with the "Military" logo since the GI Joe overall branding was dropped as not offered for sale in the USA. The Aircraft Carrier playset was added again in 2000, albeit extremely rare in this packaging. The Rapid Attack series was introduced with some including 2 vehicles (duplicates or different paint schemes) only found in these playsets. Rapid Attack Jungle Plane included a unique Churchill tank with a parachute.
