Crossovers and Customs
The Micro Machines brand was used for a number of items, though not always official and may have involved the re-use of leftover materials possibly. It seems reasonable that agreements were in place for some of these, but many of the details have been lost to time.

Large-scale Vehicles on Micro Machines Cards
An unusual array of larger-size vehicles and items have been found on Micro Machines cards which were presumably leftover from production. The theory is that these were items offered in discount retailers like dollar shops in the USA, but no other details are known. Regardless, these items are blister sealed on unused Micro Machines cards making for some truly unusual crossover items.

NASTA Micro Machines Crossover Items
In Argentina, the packaging used Micro Machines branding for NASTA items, however, in other parts of the world, the NASTA items were on their own branded packaging. NASTA items were used for Micro Machines Rip Cord Racers, so perhaps an agreement between the two companies was in place.

Bootleg Items using Micro Machines Branding/Casting
In Greece, a collection of vehicles used Micro Machines logo branding, but in Greek text. However, the vehicles were not official Micro Machines as might be expected with the similar 1987 packaging style. Still, an agreement could have been in place here to test the market by Galoob, so these are still considered an unknown, and could be official. Three different color blind bags were offered in the case shown. While collectors have poked fun at these over the years due to the inferior style vehicles included, they are quite rare and almost never surface available for sale.
Various military vehicles have been found in the camouflage colors shown below, but these appear to be made from original casts, but are not official Hasbro releases. The MicroWeaponry sets are believed to have been sold at Dollar stores in the USA/Canada. They are highly desireable and will command attention and heavy value at auction. (Note: The plastic book-like release of these was found in China and no other example has surfaced.)

Hasbro International, Custom, and Chinese Scam Items
-The Action Man Series was an exclusive to the UK and Europe. The blue kayak form the Cadbury chocolate egg release shows up in collector circles routinely, but it is not a Micro Machines along with the other vehicles shown here. (Though the 2005 Action Man ATOM playset is considered a Micro Machines release; see the 2005 Hasbro Playsets area for more information. Those vehicles in that playset are rare and pursued by collectors.)
-Custom single-vehicle mini-packaged customs are included here for presentation. These are sold sometimes on eBay, but more typically in the main FB group used by collectors (Official Micro Machines Collectors). They're an exciting side item to add to any Micro Machines collection especially due to movie themes.
-A hoard of thousands of loose common 1989 trains surfaced in China, so a local entrepreneur there created fake Galoob cards to make the sets appear as if real/authentic to dupe collectors, but they are readily available on eBay (and in China directly) and have no intrinsic value. Other variations with the same card style have surfaced as well, but the vehicles are not Micro Machines at all which is humorous to collectors.
-Finally, the Mini Auto collections from Italy are a fun non-Micro Machines item to seek out due to the similar card art as authentic Micro Machines. They're actually difficult to find packaged though, still there is little to no collector interest in them and the value is commensurate with this.
