The 2022 Collection
Series 6 Starter Packs and World Packs were released in 2022. It appears Series 6 will only be sold in the USA at Targets, Meijer, and Five Below stores. Interestingly, Series 3 Starter Packs have appears in the USA at Ross and Five Below stores no longer making them UK regional now.
Series 7 loose vehicles were found this year in China as preproduction, but they have not yet come to market. With the transition to the Transformers line this year, it's possible the civilian type vehicles are now halted and these may never be released sadly. Images will be added shortly of known Series 7 vehicles.

However, some were also available at Target and included the Chase sticker info on the front of the packs. Only 1 chase pack is known which is shown below and includes the Ultra Rare gold McLaren F1. (none have been found loose yet.) It is believed a few pre-production packs made it out before the chase vehicles for this series was presumably cancelled. Unfortunately, no silver chase vehicle is known loose or sealed for this release, however, it is likely to exist.

Jazwares has started this release at Series 1 which further indicates Series 7 may not be coming now. Note: The price increased for these to $4.99.

2022 Easter Eggs - Italy Exclusive
4 Micro Machines-related themed items were released in Italy only and encased in chocolate wrapped in a colorful foil wrapper from Icam Cioccolatieri that includes the Micro Machines logo. The wrapper color and design was changed for 2022 vs. the first 2021 release (both are shown below together for reference. The chocolate has long since expired, so this is likely the only photo of these side-by-side in the world!). Very few Italy pieces were obtained by collectors, so they are very sought after now and may increase in value and popularity far more in the future due to the regional rarity.

2022 Christmas Stockings - Italy Exclusive
For Christmas 2021 and 2022, Micro Machines-themed stockings were sold by Icam Cioccolatieri that includes the Micro Machines logo. The 2021 stocking shown below was discovered in early 2022 luckily before it vanished from shelves. (This is why they're grouped together here.) It is believed the 2021 shown here is the only known example in a collection! The 2022 release stocking design changed substantially, but it appears the same contents were used between years. While the 2022 stocking was better known by collectors, it is still extremely rare due to the limited regional availability and only a handful are known. In addition to the chocolate and gummy candies, the contents included a mini poster which was intended to be a place to use the included puffy/hollow stickers to create a scene. Since the 2022 stocking sticker sheet has an older copyright date of 2020, it stands to reason the same sticker sheet was used for both years.
