The 2021 Collection
Series 3, 4, and 5 Starter Packs and World Packs were released in 2021, but with a twist. Series 3 collections are only found in the UK. Series 4 collections have been sparingly found in the UK, but are primarily only found in the USA in stores (and Amazon in Spain and Germany) so far. Series 4 Starter Packs appear to only be sold at Five Below stores in the USA. Series 5 Starter Packs are found in South Africa and in Wal-Marts in Canada and the USA. Playsets, multipacks, Series 2, 3, and 4 blind bags, a Chocolate egg special in Italy, and an Easter egg packaging special released only in the USA are known for 2021. Collectors were very excited to see licensed vehicles in Series 4 and Series 5.

Different from the earlier 2020 releases (and Series 4), the Series 3 release included ruby-colored chase treasure vehicles. For the Starter Packs, collection #10 (STUNT PACK) can be found with a treasure HOGNOSE and collection #11 (MICRO POLICE CHASE) can be found with a treasure BEZEL. All currently known ruby-colored chase cars (as well as 2 unreleased/unidentified) are shown in the World Packs section below. The unreleased Set #13 is shown below which is thought to be pre-production from China, but unreleased. These loose vehicles from collection #13 are the only ones known.

The chase vehicle in this collection is the SKYHIGH VAN in silver (RARE) and gold (ULTRA RARE) from the MICRO MONSTER TRUCKS (#20) collection. Note: It is believed that the retailers that sell this set without the chase sticker on the front will not be selling the chase vehicles, namely Five Below. Target may be the only retailer that sells the chase vehicles or like other later releases, perhaps production of the chase vehicles has been halted. It appears the silver Sky High van was found at Target, but no gold chase vehicles ever surfaced except the one shown loose below from China. As soon as the silver chase sets started showing up, they stopped and values are catching up to this collector knowledge now that production was apparently halted. An amazing duplicate vehicle error collection is shown below with 2 green trucks that really stands out. I'm fairly certain the choice of this set #20 is a hidden reference to 1988 #20 (SUPER 4X4 Collection). I've included the French text variation from Canada for this series as reference showing the text variation on the pack.

A silver example from China is shown below sealed, however, it appears the chase vehicles for this World Pack series may not be released. Both chase vehicles in silver and gold are shown below originating directly from China, but no sealed gold vehicles have surfaced. The foreign Canada sealed example shown with the chase sticker on the blister is from China and may be a pre-production set before the decision was apparently made to remove the chase vehicles from normal production.

2021 8-PACK - Licensed Vehicles (Amazon Exclusive)
These 8-pack vehicle sets are exclusively from Amazon in the USA and included vehicles that correlated with the Jazwares Series 4 and Series 6 releases based on dates. An unusual error set with a duplicate insert surfaced in 2022, so it has been added here as an intriguing item that appears to be unique.

2021 Super 15 Collection - Series 2
Two Super 15 Collections were released for 2021 with all unique vehicles and available exclusively at Amazon. Unlike the 2020 initial release, these sets indicate they are Series 2 on the card.

2021 Easter Eggs - USA and Italy Exclusives
Four 2-vehicle packs were released at Easter time in the USA exclusively at Targets only, and the vehicles are unique to the release.
Additionally, 3 vehicles of lower quality comparatively were also released in Italy only with key-chain clips attached and encased in chocolate and wrapped in a colorful foil wrapper from Icam Cioccolatieri that includes the Micro Machines logo. Very few Italy pieces were found by collectors, so they are very sought after now and may increase in value and popularity far more in the future due to the regional rarity. (Note: The Italian chocolate eggs were released in 2022 as well, but with different contents and wrapper color and design.)

In continuing with the difficulty for collectors, Series 2 blind bags have become some of the most difficult vehicles to find. They have only been located in HEB and Sheetz gas stations in the USA as well as grocery stores in Finland. The GARBAGE TRUCK was the chase vehicle for this release and can be found in silver (rare) and gold (ultra rare). 11 different vehicles were released for the Series 2 blind bags include the silver and gold chase variants. The gold dump truck is considered one of the keys to collectors for the new Jazwares release since very few have been located. UPDATE: The Series 2 Blind Bags are now being sold in Germany on Amazon as complete sets of 9, but with the potential to find a gold garbage truck as shown below!

The vehicle castings appear to be repeats from earlier series, but the designs are unique to the release with numbering in the mid-400s.
