Jazwares entered into the Transformers market with a Micro Machines crossover this year. This was drastically different from the Hasbro Titanium line released around a decade prior. The Playset + Vehicle Blind/Mystery Boxes appear to be continued for 2023, but no other 2022 lines have shown up in 2023.

2022 Transformers: Series 1 - Target Exclusive 4-Vehicle Packs (USA Only); Amazon Exclusive 8-vehicle packs
Four collections were released for this exciting series as well as a separate chase set with X-Ray Bumblebee. (Two chase X-Ray light color variations have surfaced and are shown below along with the related test shots.) Note: There are 2 different card-backs to collect for the 4-vehicle pack series. The early release included an error on the card-back depicting the unique play background actually found in the chase collection for set #2. All 4 non-chase sets are known to have the error. This was remedied quickly though with the correct image depicted for the subsequent shipments. Additionally, the Sideswipe vehicle from Collection #3 has an error (white blob) on the hood for the early release errors with incorrect play background that was fixed for the later shipments. No chase sets are known with the incorrect play background for collection #2 on the cardback. The "white blob" Sideswipe is highly desireable to collectors since far lower production. Interestingly, a foreign release was planned with the play background dropped from the sets. Pre-productions sets of all 4 and the chase set surfaced on eBay from China and are shown below. These foreign language dual text sets have never been found in retail shops. These shown are the only sets known with this variation as production was presumably scrapped by Jazwares.
Amazon Exclusive: Two different Amazon exclusives are available for the transformers line. Each box contains 8 different vehicles and a decoder as well as backgrounds typically found sealed in the world packs. The Amazon 8-vehicle packs are repeated vehicles found in the 4-vehicle Target exclusive packs.

12 different vehicles with 6 Transformers and 6 civilian vehicles were released in 2022 as blind boxes containing a single vehicle and a mini playset exclusively sold by Target in the USA. (The codes shown on the boxes for these vehicles have been decoded and are available in the FB Official Micro Machines collectors group if curious. I've also matched them up in the composite image below.) A gold 2019 BMW M6 appears to not be a chase vehicle, but a regular release with 1 per box/case of 12, however collectors are considering it a must-have for chase-themed gold vehicle style.

The series is composed of 4 different sets similar to the first release of the series as well as a chase collection (#07). NOTE: A slight variation is known on Optimus Prime in Collection #5. The hood either has gold on it or not. It appears the gold hood version is far more rare based on the few that have surfaced so far.
